hanging with 2.5 hours of sleep

so last night, or should i say this morning, i went to bed at about 3:30am. had to wake up at 6am to get ready for work. like i mentioned in my previous entry, i don't normally work in the morning but our company is having 2 executive/leadership meetings. one that was held today, tuesday. and the other on thursday, which i will be attending from 9a-3p. since my co-workers went to today's meeting, i had to cover for them. honestly i didn't mind since i can't say no to making more money for more MAC. lol. it was a little wierd being there so early in the morning. but it was alright.

i had some free time so while updating myself on the news at cnn.com, i came across this article of a woman suspected of allegedly drowning her newborn in the toilet. i was immediately disgusted! but if you are interested, you can read the article here. but that's not the original article that i read at work but it's basically the same story.

also while on cnn.com, i came across freerice.com. it's a website that tests your vocaulary and with every correct answer, they donate 20 grains of rice to help put an end to world hunger in the united nations. so if you need a boredom buster or are simply looking to kill time, visit the site and feed the hungry! i donated 600 grains of rice. lol.

so it's official, my lil fam and i are finally moving out and on our own. byebye ewa beach, hello kaimuki! omg you don't know how excited i am. tomorrow is my day off so i will start packing some stuff in boxes. we will be moving around dec. 7. so......according to my hubz, i am banned from buying anymore makeup until next year (tax returns). that is, according to my hubz. not according to lani. lol. he is definitely losing his mind if he thinks i will go that long without purchasing my joy and happiness. lol. and anyway, i support my own habits and rarely depend on him to contribute/donate. i'm an independent woman lol.
