1. What was I doing 10 years ago?
I was a freshman I think, in high school. Getting straight A's and being innocent. That was all before I started cutting class in my junior year. But anyways we're not talking about that LOL. Yeah so I was a freshman at Campbell High School. Go Sabers!! lol. Honestly I don't remember much. I just know I did good, made friends with a lot of Seniors who were in my computer applications class. was in a few clubs, and...was still very chubby. lol. i lost all that baby fat in my sophomore year when i tried out for the school's first ever dance team Saber Steppers! LOL. foreal though that's when i lost weight....then had boyfriends....and..anyways. lol.

2. What are 5 things on my to-do list today?
1. kids' laundry.
2. mail a package of goodies for lisa, who let me review the anastasia brow kit (sooo long overdue! =|)
3. pay for my cell phone bill
4. start making my list of things to pack for my vacation
5. remember to de-frost ribs (yes i'm making ribs again tonight, thanks j. rose lol

3. Snacks I enjoy:
oh god where i start? LOL. chocolate covered gummi bears (my fave!!) the ones with all white gummi bears though, not the colored ones - yuck! quaker cakes mini rice cakes, the caramel ones. OMG only 60 calories and sooooo good!! they have that buttery caramel taste. and um...whatever fruits we get from costco, (strawberries, plums, apples) oh and i love oranges too. but i gotta peel and section them or i won't eat em. lol.

4. Places I’ve lived:
Hawaii!! born n raised. i've lived here all my life. :)

5. Things I’d do if I were a billionaire:
omg i gotta agree and say get my ass outta debt (from school:()!! buy a house, doesn't have to be a huge mansion or anything just something nice and simple. buy a bentley. i loooove kim k.'s car! and um...buy everything in MAC and sephora. and...invest in stocks. start my own beauty salon with professional makeup artists (not me! lol).

6. People I want to know more about:
that's a toughie. i guess i'd say all my fellow MAC addicts. i'd like to know more about you besides our obession for MAC. lol.

So I met up with Jaime on Wednesday. She is such a tiny lil girl (seriously like half my size!) with so much energy! She is soo sweet though! She was so helpful in helping me pick out an outfit to wear tomorrow night. I've never been in a store that long. She was so patient and kept asking all the sales ladies for help and asking to get my sizes while I was in the dressing room trying on stuff. After all that we were both starving because we only had cereal that morning. We went to the food court and ate Panda Express. Of course we had the infamous orange chicken. yummy! We were laughing about all kinds of stuff and just talking about our video game lovin, UFC obsessed, not-an-ounce-interested in makeup bfs. LOL. we went to the MAC store and she said anytime i wanna go to MAC, to call her up because she has a pro card. (ahhh!!) so sweet! but of course we totally forgot cool heat was coming out the next day (bummer!) so i passed on getting anything just to save my money. so we're going tomorrow before we get ready. sorry if i'm sounding like i have a new bff or something. lol. it's not like that though, just a cool new friend that i've met in person from youtube and surprisingly we have so much in common. we didn't talk/msg each other since wednesday but just this morning she messaged me to remind me about tomorrow.

anyway, sorry to bore you with all of that. but i did manage to get a pic of us. :)

random jibberish

i am already not feeling this layout. so thanks to Krystle, i can do something about it. she shared a website that she found through PC Magazine. GetPaint allows you to download a free image-editing software similar to photoshop. i was trying it out earlier today and i'm in love. thank heavens for this. i was getting sick of my trial periods expiring on me. leaving me with no other option but to go and look for another 30-day trial of crap. the installation/dl time was really quick for me too and very easy. if you download the program, make sure you download the 3.22 version. that is the one that's free. i first downloaded the 3.30 beta thinking it was a more updated version and lo and behold, it has a 30-day trial. sooo, 3.22 people! and Krystle even shares a little tut on how to do a basic watermark to prevent folks from jacking your precious makeup pics. =)

Yay for Koren at EnKoreMakeup for sharing his reviews on the coastalscents brushes. I want the Large Italian Badger Buffer Brush. I can just feel the velvety smooth butter-like hairs gliding across my face just by looking at the damn thing. lol. Seriously though, if EnKore Says they're great, you can't expect anything less. And for the unbelieveable prices, 'no' is just not an option. lol. Check them out:

1) MAC Tweezers

I do love MAC. But not their tweezers. oh please, anything but their tweezers. for $28, i have two words for you: rip. off. seriously, they do not grab the hairs. it's a little too long and feels heavy in my hand. tweezerman. hands down. NEXT!

2) Almay Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover Liquid

This is supposedly America's #1 Eye Makeup remover brand. hahaha...bahaha! when i used this stuff it felt like swiping vegetable oil all over my eye. i HATE that greasy, oily feeling. i get that it's supposed to be moisturizing but my eyes are not butterball turkeys ready to be greased for a baking. yuck.

3) Smashbox Lip & Lid Primer

Honestly, I liked the travel-friendly size packaging and I liked the whole concept of having both primers in one. But when you come right down to it, the product sucked. the eye primer did not go on my eyelids smoothly. it was a bit cakey and came out in streaks. this ain't got nothing on UDPP. as for the lip primer, let's not even go there. if i was begging for dry, flakey lips, i would use this in a heartbeat.

4) imju fiberwig mascara

sad but true. i know this particular mascara has gotten a lot of great reviews but unforunately it didn't work out for me. everytime i put them on it would make my lashes look like little trees. i mean trees with little tiny branches. sorry if that doesn't make sense but i don't know how else to explain it. i guess there was just way too much fiber in there. i didn't get any length. just clumpy..little..trees. but i love shu uemura fiber xtension. :)

5) bare escentuals barevitamins skin rev-er upper

and last but never the least, i must agree with Christiana Divine on this one. That smell...it's just...oh my, i don't even know what that is. but it's funky as hell and it stinks. i didn't even try putting it on my face so i have nothing to say about the product itself. i just got a whif of that stuff and i was immediately turned off. sure enough she made a date with my son's dirty diaper-in the trash.

i'm baaaaaaaaaack!

so i didn't know that when my bf moved our bed and computer into our new apartment, the internet was already working. yay! because...we're borrowing his sister's clearwire modem. that is, until tomorrow, i get to go to Sears and pick up our Road Runner cable modem. :D the move went well. i'm so glad to finally be out of the parentals' supervision but at the same time i am sad. only because i've been living with them for the past 23 years of my life. and here i am, moving out. but i gotta stop bein such a crybaby about it. it's not like i moved across the pacific ocean. just 30 minutes away. that means i can see them any time i want. and knowing that makes me happy.

it's about 2:17 am and yes, i'm still up. i am not at all tired. ever since i've been working the PM shift, my day has started later. so i'm a little behind. my bf hit the sack about 4 hours ago lol. i was informed that they might be starting a graveyard shift at my job. the idea is kinda spooky but i think it's something i might consider since i'm up when everyone else is getting their Zs.

here are the pics from my latest haulage. i'm a bit lazy to caption all these so if you have any Qs just let a sister know. ;) these haven't been watermarked because i don't have my photoshop yet. and i'm a little sad that a few of my metal-x shadows were already swiped by moi before taking their pics lol. i just added in the other 3 that i bought first to meet the rest of their fam. ;) i don't know if i can stay away from more makeup until after the holidays. it's going to be an incredible challenge especially since the originals are coming out on the 26th from MAC. although if i had to choose just one it would be parrot because it's been sold on e-bay for over $100. which is effin crazy if you ask me. and whoever did buy it on ebay for that price will be crying when they find out the originals are coming out. oh and the little brush sets are ones that i found from K-Mart. For some reason when it comes to brushes, all I need to do is look at them closely and I can pretty much tell if they will be soft/good quality. Sure enough when I got them out of the package, I felt them and they are really soft! I liked the red handles, they kind of remind me of little Smashbox brushes. And the price wasn't bad either. Each set was only 9.99. What a steal! anyway, on to the eye candy:












i can't believe christmas is right around the corner. thank god tomorrow, i mean today is pay day. i need to get more stuff for the apartment since we have no furniture. :( the hubz and i also need to get a lil christmas tree. i told him i would be content with a fake one but he's insisting on getting a real one since this will be our first little christmas together as a family. except my daughter will be in boston with my mom and sisters. :( i'm sad about that but my sister really wanted her neice to spend christmas with her this year. While I was at K-Mart I saw some really cute and cheap xmas tree decorations. I will be back later today to check em out again.

1) i LOVE sushi and raw fish (poke). i can seriously eat it everyday for the rest of my life without getting tired or sick of it. did i mention unagi? and spicy tuna? oh god..

2) i want a boob job! seriously. foreal.

3) i don't do hookah but i do the greens if you know what i mean. and hey, don't hate! i don't do it everyday. not even once a week. it's whenever i can get some which is not often with my MAC addiction that consumes a lotta $$$.

4) i value my job. i take pride in what i do and i am very passionate about it. i work hard and do my best. and people know it from my words and actions.

5) i HATE geckos. even the little tiny baby ones, if i see one i will be scared shitless. they are everywhere here in hawaii but NOT in MY hale (ha-lei=home). but i don't ever kill them.

6) i've only gotten a pedi ONCE in my entire life. don't think i'll be getting a 2nd either. i dunno..other people touchin my feet like that just don't feel right lol. and no, i don't have nasty feet.

7) i do not watch TV. i just don't have time for it. and all those reality shows-it's a bit much. the only thing that i was up-to-date with was The Hills on MTV. but even that, i've missed the last 3 episodes. and shit next week monday is the season finale. i need to catch up on thehills.mtv.com. i dunno, i'd rather be here or on myspace instead of in front of the tube. as for the news, i just go to cnn.com.
